Pyramid | Compass
Pyramid was founded in 1994 with a goal to provide automation solutions for distribution centers to support order fulfillment and inventory management. In 2012, Pyramid was acquired by Matthews International.
Compass Engineering was founded in 1998, focusing on high-quality material handling software and control solutions for operations that deploy large conveyor and sortation systems. In 2017, Compass was acquired by Matthews International and joined Pyramid in their Cincinnati, OH Location.
Lightning Pick
Starting in 1998 as Professional Control Corporation, PCC . In 2006 PCC was renamed Lightning Pick Technologies.
In 2010, IPTI (Innovative Picking Technologies, Inc.), a leading provider of pick-to-light, picking carts, and other order picking systems, joins Matthews International. In 2011, Lightning Pick, a top supplier of pick-to-light, put walls and other paperless picking solutions, was acquired by Matthews International. In 2014, IPTI, joined the Lightning Pick brand and moved into their Waukesha, WI location.
